Tracy High Sports is pleased to announce that Cat Ebojo has been named the varsity volleyball head coach.

A bio from the coach:  “I started playing competitive volleyball in Zama, Japan while in middle school and was instantly hooked on the game. Later moving to Alameda, CA, I was a 4 year varsity Setter and DS for Encinal High School earning ESAL All League honors for 2 years. I would go on to play at Alameda College and various adult leagues. I began my coaching career at Encinal High School as the head JV Coach for 2 years. I would return to coaching several years later when my own daughter fell in love with playing volleyball as a freshman at West High. I was the Assistant Varsity Coach at West for two seasons before becoming the JV Head Coach (2012-2017). This year, I took on a new venture as the Co-Head Varsity Coach of the East Union Boys Varsity Volleyball team (Manteca). Now in our second season of being a team, the EU Lancers have clinched a playoff berth. Currently, I coach club for Spark Volleyball in Lodi (2013-present) and formerly at VR Volleyball Club (2011-2013). I’m very excited to now be a Tracy High Bulldog!!

Along with my love for volleyball, I am very passionate about all aspects of education. Currently, I work as a Special Education Para Educator at West High.”

There will be a meeting for all returning and new players interested in playing volleyball next season on Tuesday, May 1 at 3:30 p.m. in the main gym.  Information, summer practice schedules, and grade checks will be distributed at this meeting.

Limited practices will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from May 1 – May 17 from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the main gym.  Freshman interested in playing volleyball should report to the main gym for summer practices starting on Monday, June 4.
