September 9 vs Ceres  - TRACY 12 - CERES 8

Captain Connor Johnson held down goal, I am not sure off hand how  many he allowed, as we also brought our JV goalie Dylan Silveira to see  play time.

Captain Caden Fry brought his usual  grit, and played several roles in the game, including both center  positions, and defensive wing.

----------------

vs Heritage Tuesday September 3

The Tracy boys had their second pre-season match-up against Heritage  High School of Brentwood. Both our JV and Varsity squads played separate  games.

Varsity 21-7 loss.

Connor  Johnson, goaltender, protected for all 28 minutes of the varsity game,  and improved as the game went on. The offense brought by heritage was  formidable, but provided a great challenge, and preparation for the TCAL  season. Zaid Mamsa was player of the game, he's earning more play time  as when he shoots, he scores.

JV 20-1 loss.

Dylan  Silveira had his first start as a goaltender for JV. Benny Melendez  scored the only goal scored by JV, and was player of the game. Kanoa  Stoddard had the assist. This was a great learning opportunity to be  matched he'd up against a much more experienced team.

Pre Season Game 1 Summary:

Tracy boys won 26-6 with their first pre season match at the THS pool versus Sierra.

Breakout  performances from Micah Masten, sophomore who put up 5 goals, during  his first ever water polo match. Captain Caden Fry matched with another 5  put up.

Freshman Dylan  Silveira, protected the goal throughout the second and third quarters  giving up only 4 goals. Captain Connor Johnson played both goal, and  wing when his backup was in goal.

Good first showing, however the TCAL season will likely provide a more challenging lineup than today’s match.
